Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park & Ticket Information

Legend has it that years ago, Orlando survived a once-in-a-lifetime winter storm that blanketed the area with snow. Wanting to capitalize on the extreme change in weather, engineers at Walt Disney World® Resort set about building a magnificent ski lodge with all the amenities. Of course, this being Florida, the snow melted as soon as our usual warm temperatures returned … and thus, Disney’s Blizzard Beach® Water Park was born!

Although the park’s snow has long since turned to water, Blizzard Beach still has everything you’d expect from a ski resort — albeit with a twist. Here, the chairlift carries swimmers instead of skiers to the top of Mount Gushmore, and the toboggan runs and ski slopes are now used as waterslides. And perhaps best of all, it’s the only ski lodge in the U.S. where the water is always warm! You’ll find wild ways to play at Blizzard Beach, starting with easy slides like Runoff Rapids, Snow Stormers and the competitive Toboggan Racers. And at Teamboat Springs, you and up to five of your family and friends can team up for one of the world’s longest raft rides. If you want more of a challenge, brave a near-vertical, 120-foot drop at Summit Plummet. Nearby, Slush Gusher is a 90-foot, high-speed waterslide, and Downhill Double Dipper challenges you to a head-to-head race in twin enclosed slides.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach also invites you to relax along its 3,000-foot-long, polar-themed lazy river, Cross Country Creek. You can also chill out at the Melt-Away Bay wave pool, and younger guests will have the time of their lives at Ski Patrol Training Camp and Tike’s Peak, both of which are specifically designed for children.
